Website Copywriting for Landscaping Company
When Andrew Slingsby started his company, Grounded Landscape, he knew it was important to have an online presence to attract customers. He initially created a DIY website on Wix.
But as his company grew, he knew he needed a more professional looking website that would show off his work.
After a mutual friend introduced us, we met with Andrew at a local coffee shop to talk about his project goals and see if we would be a good fit.
We enjoyed getting to know Andrew. He’s a humble, soft-spoken guy with an incredible amount of talent.
We instantly fell in love with his business slogan:
“Big enough to take on any project but still small enough to care.”
When Andrew hired us to work on his website copy, we scheduled a second meeting where we could talk in-depth about his ideal customers and dream projects.
His ideal customers watch Fixer Upper and search for design ideas on Pinterest.
They have a home valued at $250K+ and disposable income.
In their free time, they enjoy watching sports and spending time with family.
Most of Andrew’s new business comes through referrals from previous customers.
He also works with out-of-state contractors looking for a trustworthy local landscaper for commercial projects.
With this information in mind, we began researching the things that delight (and annoy) his ideal customers. We also conducted competitor research to see what local landscaping companies were doing — and how Grounded Landscape could stand out.
After presenting a final draft to Andrew, we helped him upload the content onto the Squarespace website he had designed himself.
The new Grounded Landscape website feels warm and inviting — just like the homes and people Andrew works with.
